Ever find yourself in a funk and bidding on an eBay auction thinking you'll be outbid anyway at the last minute? Yeah, unfortunately no snipers at the last minute so I've got an Apple //e system on it's way to the house in a few weeks.
I was not into Apple //e as much as my brother was back in the day but I've still got fond memories of them. Our local school district was a MECC member so I ended up being one of the student volunteers that helped organize the collection and make the discs available to classrooms. I played a lot of MECC games back then including, of course, The Oregon Trail. I'm pretty sure I ended up trying every option that was available to see how the logic branches worked to give different results.
Not sure I really want to keep an Apple //e system here at the house so there's a chance it might be donated to my brother.
