I've been brainstorming some Loadstar features that could be excerpted and just make available for use on the internet. One idea that seemed relative easy to accomplish (in that it only took about three days of work) is to pull out all of James Jones' recipes, on various Loadstar issues from 85 to around 156, and put them on a small website of their own. This is what I've done: 8 Bit Recipes.
There were over 280 recipes scattered through eight issues, and they're all here. By the way, a tip: if you want to get the contents of any printable text file out into an ASCII form, set up a VICE printer for virtual printer, file system and ASCII output. By default, the contents will be put into a file called print.dump. If you print more than one file, they'll all be sent to that one dump.
Please enjoy, and if you try out one of the recipes, please take a moment to remember James T. Jones (unrelated, I think, to Jeff Jones). Thank you!
