A few weeks back I had the please of meeting Michael Tomczyk in person and he was one of the most interesting people that I've talked with in quite some time. Commodore fans know Michael of course from his work as Product Manager for the VIC-20 as well as his work co-designing the VICModem which was the first modem to sell for under $100 and to sell over a million units. Talking with him, though, you realize that his time with Commodore is just one chapter in his life and his time before Commodore and after is just as interesting.

While browsing Facebook I came across this announcement of an upcoming interview with Michael scheduled for December at the TPUG Holiday Meeting by "Dr. Obsoleto" (Nico Gold).
