I'm (slowly) working on getting my collection of original Commodore hardware set up as mini-workstations and am pondering how good the image quality would be with something like the Necroware MCE Adapter to hook up a C128 to an old VGA LCD monitor since it's a simpler solution than using something uses a Raspberry Pi to hook up to HDMI?

Pre-built units can be found on eBay relatively cheap but I'd be really curious how well they actually work before spending on money on yet even more hardware that'll sit around.
